Poster Design - Development

This are some of my development work. It ranges from illustration styles, the type of illustration, typeface development, and poster layouts. 

From my development work, I have chosen my final design. It is very simple. The illustration is quite sketchy. I need to really consider this when screen printing, as it may not work. I was hoping to keep this style but I need to look it to other media, as they may work better and be more successful. I need to consider the media to ensure I can still detail the material.   I like the style of my type. I like the look at hand rendered type, I think It gives the poster a unique style. 

I have tried the design in markers. I needed to choose a media which would work in keeping the element of the material, which I got with the sketches. I think it works well with the type. I tried a range of different colour palettes, I think the grey scale will work well along side the black type. 

I have thought about printing on a textured paper which is slightly off colour. This will also had to idea of vintage.
